Here is a light luxury home theater system from Germany Magnat that I recommend. It is not only about the  looks, sounds, and works well, but it also allows the family to spend more time together and enjoy their daily leisure time. If your living room space is limited but you want it to be sufficient to accommodate a 5.1 home theater system, or if you have a limited budget but are willing to pay for good sound, do not be torn. Instead, allow the Magnat Tempus series to enhance the happiness of you and your family while watching the movie and listening to music.

About Magnat

Magnat has nearly 50 years of speaker development and production experience as a representative of German and European audio brands. Magnat’s acoustic characteristics are clear, coherent, and precise. The brand philosophy of honest self-discipline and meticulousness remains consistent.

Magnat’s products continue to win numerous awards from international authoritative media, and its car audio is also the first choice from Porsche, Mercedes-Benz, BMW, Chevrolet and other world-famous automobiles companies.

Magnat prioritizes realistic sound reproduction effect, so that the speaker meets technical specifications and optimizes acoustic performance is the basic operation. This spirit pervades all product development and production, including entry-level models like the Tempus series.

Tempus series products include floorstanding speakers Tempus 77 and Tempus 55, bookshelf speakers Tempus 33, and a center speaker Tempus C22. All of which belong to a very standard home theater speaker configuration, but not only for the formation of theater systems.

This series linked to high-quality audio components and a variety of technologies used in it.

The Design

All Tempus series speaker cabinets are made of E1 environmental grade MDF board, which is both strong and beautiful. The cabinet’s internal support and connection are also carefully designed to create a low-resonance cabinet structure.

The Tempus series employs Magnat’s newly developed 25mm caliber Fmax dome tweeter in the key unit configuration. This model has a larger rayon dome and an optimized tweeter panel to reduce harmful edge reflections.

In the magnetic circuit, neodymium magnets are used. This ensures transparency and stability in high frequency reproduction in addition to covering a wider frequency range and extending high frequencies to 45kHz.

The opening cone design ensures high load capacity while reducing electromagnetic and mechanical losses, allowing the energy generated by the powerful magnetic system to be focused on accurate low and midrange signal reproduction.

Yes, all Tempus series units have been optimized using the klippel laser measurement system. The klippel system is used by magnat engineers to measure and simulate real-world dynamic range without relying on parametric statistics or other simple traditional methods, allowing the unit’s motion trajectory to be perfected on a larger scale and with greater accuracy. Lower distortion can thus be achieved when playing music with high dynamics.

On this basis, the inverted phase hole on the cabinet is treated with air softening technology to effectively eliminate tube mouth noise interference at low frequencies. Furthermore, the APOC amplitude and phase optimization crossover technology aids the Tempus series in producing more accurate sound reproduction.

In short, despite the Tempus series’ entry-level positioning, Magnat’s engineers have made no mistake about it, achieving the Tempus series’ valuable attributes of both high performance and low cost performance.

At the same time, the Tempus series can meet two-channel Hi-Fi music and movie playback requirements.

The two floorstanding speakers, Tempus 77 and Tempus 55, cover the frequency ranges of 22Hz-45kHz and 24Hz-45kHz, respectively, while the body size of the small bookshelf speaker Tempus 33, low frequency dive can also go to 33Hz, while the high frequency can also be extended to 45kHz.

This means that when used as two-channel Hi-Fi speakers, they have enough power to reproduce the amount of information across the entire frequency range. Furthermore, the sensitivity of the speakers is greater than 90dB, the recommended amplifier power concentration is 100-250W, and the general amplifier can fully manage.

Of course, Magnat  Tempus 77 and Magnat Tempus 55 support dual-line split and bi-amplifier connections for more in-depth play.

If you have a larger budget, you can use Magnat  Tempus 77 as the main speakers, Magnat  Tempus 33 as the surround speakers, and a 5.1-channel theater system with a Tempus C22 center speaker and an RS-8/RS-12 subwoofer. Tempus 77 speakers may be replaced with smaller Tempus 55 floorstanding speakers, or Tempus 33 bookshelf speakers may be used as main and surround speakers.

To decide whether to match the black or warm to the mocha color, consider the home decor.
