The Klipsch R-12SW is a 12-inch subwoofer with a unique black and copper design. This product weighs only 33 pounds, making it light enough to move around easily! In addition, the removable front covering foam grill allows you the option of decorating your sound system to match any room’s style! About the Klipsch

Klipsch has been established since 1946 and is an American-based company. Over the years, they’ve gained an excellent reputation for creating speakers, enclosures, and drivers of a high standard.
The audio products vary from home uses with home entertainment systems to public places like AMC theatres or Hard Rock Cafes, to name a few!

Design

The Klipsch R-12SW subwoofer is a well-designed, luxurious subwoofer that measures 14 x 18.5 x 16 inches and weighs approximately 30 pounds. The sleek design of the cube shape makes it look like an expensive piece on any entertainment system for music enthusiasts who demand nothing less than quality sound.
Klipsch’s solid construction makes it stable and sturdy. It can be a bit of an inconvenience to reposition, but the benefits outweigh any drawbacks in this instance.

Klipsch makes some of the best speakers in the industry, and their subwoofers are no exception. As a result, the R-12SW is an excellent buy for anyone who wants crisp bass without taking up too much space with big boxes that take away from other furniture arrangements.

Their R-12SW 12″ powered subwoofer has a build quality and smaller size compared to others. In addition, it can produce crystal clear sound at even lower frequencies than most competitors can handle due to Klipsh’s exclusive design technology, which allows them additional headroom on frequency response by increasing excursion capability.

The cabinet is made with standard medium density fiber (MDF) wood and wrapped in a black polymer veneer for an added touch of texture. The brushed design gives this piece a high-end look you always wanted without sacrificing performance or style!

A removable cloth grille covers the front of this high-tech subwoofer. The sleek design ensures it reaches the corners of any room while remaining aesthetically pleasing in a dark space with its soft, minimal curves and subtle LED indicator light.

Not only does this speaker have a sleek copper diaphragm shaped like an egg, but it also has the power to match. The Klipsch R-12SW’s 400W digital amplifier is one of its best features because many speakers don’t deliver much sound and volume without compromising quality.

The design behind my favorite piece from Klipsch was brilliantly executed with their 12″ driver that offers some serious boom for your buck at 100dB max output level! Besides looking great on any shelf or desk, you’ll be able to hear all sorts of songs delivered crystal clear thanks to its low distortion rate.

Many different materials can be used: paper and plastic speakers, copper ones, or even metal. However, there is no best type of material for making speakers.

Because it is all about what you want to use the speaker, for whether they need to distort less at low frequencies than other types of materials do; last longer than others will; sound better in specific environments like small places with lots of background noise, etc. Among them, the copper diaphragm is less flexible, which minimizes distortion, especially at lower frequencies. It is also more durable compared to other materials.

Located on the back of this speaker is a variety of controls, including volume and power. And the rear-firing port also locates at the back.

Four thick rubber feet help to reduce any vibrations that might be heard when playing music at high volumes while also offering some sound absorption capabilities. So you can play it loud without being too disturbed by the noise coming in through other means such as open windows – great if parties are something you enjoy hosting!

Features and Connectivity

The Klipsch R-12SW subwoofer has a set of inputs that can be used to connect it with your audio system. In addition, the back panel also contains switches and knobs for adjusting the frequency range, volume, phase, gain levels, etc., which is perfect if you want customized sound quality.

The gain control

The gain knob is a volume dial that allows you to increase or decrease the audio signal sent from your receiver. With no input, it will be at the same level as other speakers connected to the receiver– but if you need more bass in an area of particular interest (like when watching movies), then turn up your subwoofer by adjusting its control on this knob!

The phase switch control

This phase switch can add an electrical delay to the audio signal. In addition, setting it 180 degrees reverses the polarity of the subwoofer, which may improve frequency response.

The low-pass filter control

The low-pass filter knob lets you determine how much of the deep bass frequencies will pass through your subwoofer, and it also allows for a cutoff frequency adjustment. For example, with a 60Hz cutoff, any sound below 60 Hz is filtered out before being reproduced by the speaker system; so if there are instruments or vocals in those ranges, they might not be heard as clearly.

The Klipsch R-12SW has an impressive range from 29 to 120 Hertz (a measure of frequency). With its adjustable lows filters, one can decide which frequencies need more emphasis: anything higher than 120 Hertz gets passed on untouched while everything between 29 and 120 hertz gets reduced at different rates depending on what setting you want.

Klipsch R-12SW Subwoofer

Turning the low-pass filter knob entirely to the right sets your subwoofer into LFE mode. While this is not a setting you are likely to change often, it can be beneficial when configuring an amplifier/receiver and connecting multiple speakers for surround sound purposes.

Placing too much bass in one speaker doesn’t do justice or provide good clarity, as we’ve all been there before with fuzzy music coming from two different directions at once! Turning on LFE will send only those deep, rumbling frequencies through your music system, so every note comes out clear and balanced without distortion because of heavy bass signals messing up even non- “bass” notes.”

The wireless kit

The Klipsch R-12SW is an excellent subwoofer for people who want to get the best sound possible without paying an arm and a leg. Other brands may offer more features, but this doesn’t necessarily make it better quality.

Compared to other options in its price range, you’ll find that the Klipsch R-12SW offers fewer bells and whistles than some of its competitors, like the wireless connection features. However, Klipsch has you covered for wireless connectivity with their included wireless kit. So to connect the Klipsch WA-2 antenna to a port on your amplifier’s back panel and instantly enjoy entering that blissful world of limitless music!

Sound Performance

The Klipsch R-12SW subwoofer is the subwoofer for those who want a deep, rich bass without sacrificing accuracy. The sound it produces will fill any room in your house that you put this beast of an audio product into with powerful tones and clear vocals.

The Klipsch R-12SW will not disappoint if you are looking for profound and smooth bass sounds from some top-notch speakers at an affordable price range!

The Klipsch R-12SW subwoofer is an excellent choice for those looking to achieve the highest quality sound. This 12″ speaker allows you to enjoy deep bass without any distortion, even when cranking up your volume settings!

The copper-diagram driver’s sound quality is clear and bright, which provides less coloration than other materials. The clarity of the audio may be attributed to its diaphragm made from a metal called copper. Unfortunately, copper isn’t as flexible when it comes to contact with high frequencies that cause distortion because they break up more easily than softer metals like aluminum or steel found on most speakers today. But for the low-frequency use, this makes for an impressive listening experience without sacrificing any bass response!

Klipsch R12SW Subwoofer

The subwoofer produces a sound that you may not expect. The bass is much crisper than it sounds on other devices, but the clarity of each note mesmerizes listeners with its near-perfect precision and balance.

The Klipsch R-12SW is for those who want to get a subwoofer with just the right amount of power. The all-digital amplifier will give you plenty, with 200W RMS and 400W dynamic energy, common for 12-inch subs in general. So you’ll never have trouble getting your house rocking again no matter what setup you’re looking at!

One of the most common complaints about audio equipment is a humming noise. Thankfully, it’s usually just feedback caused by ground loops in your power supply and can be easily remedied with better cables or moving to a newer outlet that doesn’t have this issue. However, if you’re getting hums from inexpensive wires like those provided for our Klipsch R-12SW speakers, I recommend upgrading them immediately!

Conclusion

The Klipsch R-12SW’s durable design is perfect for those who are always on the go. Featuring a sophisticated look thanks to its brushed polymer exterior, this speaker also has an easily removable grille that allows you to show off the gorgeous 12″ copper driver inside!

This subwoofer offers a crisp, clear sound unmatched by many other receivers in the same price range. In addition, the deep bass becomes even more pronounced with an LFE input.

Klipsch is one of the most respected and reliable speaker companies, but their subwoofer warranty can only be described as “a bit on the short side.” Compared to other brands such as Polk that offer a 3-year limited warranty for electronics in all speakers or even a 5-year straight-up coverage with no questions asked, Klipsch’s two-year plan seems like it could use some improvement.

The Klipsch R-12SW subwoofer is the perfect way to bring your sound system alive. This 12″ subwoofer produces deep, distortion-free bass at an affordable price point, so there’s no reason not to give it a try!

What Buyers Say About Klipsch R-12SW Subwoofer

This thing is awesome. It arrived well within the stated delivery window, and was up and running in less than 5 minutes. Let me tell you, this thing goes loud and deep. It shakes the walls! You know that scene in Game of Thrones where they blow up all of the ships? I thought it was going to wake the neighborhood! There’s virtually no break-in period. It sounded great from the first minute. It’s aesthetically pleasing, too. The veneer almost looks like black brushed aluminum, and the golden cone is nice to look at. And the cost is less than my old Boston that I had missed so much. Worth the buy! Go for it!

I’m not just an audiophile, I record and produce music as well. I have a fairly well-equipped home studio, which includes a professional reference-level monitor system, with a very high quality (and high price-point) sub. I never thought I would hear a consumer-level sub for a home stereo system that sounds as good as my studio-grade sub. But, I was wrong. This Klipsch 12 inch sub is very impressive. Great tone, and captures not just the sound, but the feel of the lowest lows in your music and movies. No distortion with this sub. If you are wondering whether a 12 inch woofer it too big, it’s not. The size of the speaker helps it to easily reproduce very low frequencies without distortion, and without having to crank the volume to get the effect you want.
